From September 5th to 8th 2023, the picturesque town of Bansko, Bulgaria, hosted the first Learning, Teaching, Training Activity (LTTA) of the Life Worth Living – Caring for our educators and principals project.
Led by Dr. Angela Gorrell and Dr. Joshua Forstenzer, the event immersed educators and facilitators in a transformative journey of self-discovery and intellectual exploration. Participants reflected on ten fundamental life and educational questions, such as “What is Education For?” and “To Whom Are We Responsible?”
The LTTA emphasized the importance of critical reflection, personal growth, and fostering inclusive learning communities. By the end of this enriching experience, attendees left with new perspectives on their roles as LIFE facilitators and a deeper sense of purpose to inspire positive change in education and society.
